Run for fitness, run for health
Manila, Philippines - Manila Broadcasting Company partners with the City of Manila anew in mounting the second Manila Bay Clean-Up Run, which will take place on July 15, coinciding with the anniversary celebrations of its flagship station DZRH.
The event is open to all interested participants and will feature races in the 3K, 5K, 10K, and 15K divisions for both men and women. Trophies and cash prizes will be given to the top three winners in each race division, along with a special award for the biggest delegation or group that submits a minimum of 25 paying entries.
Registration runs from May 28 through July 2 at Chris Sports outlets in Glorietta , TriNoma, SM Mall of Asia, SM Megamall, SM Bicutan, SM Southmall, and SM North EDSA, and at the lobby of Manila Broadcasting Company, Sotto Street, CCP Complex, Pasay City.
As a solid manifestation of corporate social responsibility, MBC has joined other establishments based along Roxas Boulevard for Land Bank’s Manila Bay Clean-Up Program since 2009. Aiming to help implement a sustainable approach to cleaning and protecting marine and coastal resources, MBC now encourages the public to take its own steps to enhance efforts in reducing rubbish and minimizing pollutants, which will have an impact in the long run.
