Have you heard the latest on oral hygiene?
MANILA, Philippines - Nearly everything we use today are built and designed for the very purpose of reducing manual work, and making our lives more productive and convenient. That is why mighty electronic gadgets like tablets, laptops, and smartphones have been embraced by the world.
These devices have come to take over nearly all aspects of our lives, from communications, entertainment and leisure to household appliances and to personal care — oral hygiene is no exception. Of course, electronic toothbrushes are already common devices, but Philips brings something new and revolutionary with the Sonicare HealthyWhite toothbrush.
The Philips Sonicare HealthyWhite toothbrush utilizes a patented Sonic Technology to perform 31,000 strokes per minute — which, needless to say, are much more than what our hands can achieve. Its contoured head allows easier access to back teeth, and its soft bristles are extra gentle on the gums and teeth. The toothbrush is safe to use on braces and dental restorations as well.
Aside from its impressive speed, the SonicareHealthyWhite also brushes in an extra wide sweeping motion that is said to be more effective in removing plaque compared to ordinary electric toothbrushes. Philips promises that everyday stains that form on your teeth — especially those due to coffee or tea — can be removed in just two weeks, resulting in whiter teeth.
The HealthyWhite electric toothbrush performs the same wide-sweep cleaning in its two modes: the Clean Mode, which runs for two minutes and results in a standard clean; and the Clean and White Mode, which is a standard two-minute Clean Mode with an additional 30 seconds of White Mode to focus on visible front teeth.
There’s also the Quadpacer, a 30-second interval timer which indicates when you have completed each quadrant of your mouth and signals you to move on. This ensures that every part of the mouth is cleaned equally.
