MANILA, Philippines - Healthcare professionals can now save more lives, detect cancers earlier and offer better, personalized treatment with the latest medical imaging technology debuting in the Philippines recently. These breakthrough innovations were launched to the Filipino medical community during the CT and MRI User’s Conference held recently in Mactan, Cebu.
CT or computed tomography and MRI or magnetic resonance imaging have long been relied on by the medical community to diagnose diseases and detect cancers.
The Philips-powered MRI, CT and iDose technologies unveiled at the conference allow precise, efficient, and optimal medical imaging.
“These innovations help doctors accurately target different areas of the body, including bones and organs, for early detection, accurate diagnosis, and proper treatment of diseases. This ultimately leads to more lives being saved, higher survival rates for intricate surgeries and overall better healthcare,” says Dr. Joel Beltran, Philips general manager for the Philippines.
