Search on for Ascof Mother of the Year
MANILA, Philippines - No other Mom-centric brand can pamper Mom than Ascof Lagundi, a product of Pascual Laboratories that has been in the field of healthcare for over 50 years now. Ascof Lagundi is holding a 28-mall day event called the Ascof Natural Super Mom, the Search for Mother of the Year on all Saturdays and Sundays from May 7 until October 2.
The first leg was held last Mother’s Day at SM North Edsa, followed by SM Pampanga the week after. The search was then brought to SM Sta. Rosa, SM Cebu, and SM Bacolod. The next legs will include SM Megamall, SM Davao, SM Batangas, SM Bacoor, SM Calamba, SM Baguio, and SM Tarlac.
Five Mall Super Moms have already won P20,000 each, with P3,000 each for the persons who nominated them. These Super Moms are Fredesvinda Neri, nominated by Hannah Neri (SM North Edsa); Bernice de Guzman-Yulo, nominated by Erica de Guzman (SM Pampanga); Gregoria V. Ramilo, nominated by Reinadel V. Ramilo (SM Sta.Rosa); Ivy Llena, nominated by Junefer Llena (SM Cebu); and Virginia San Mateo, nominated by Jeanette (SM Manila).
SM mallgoers may still nominate the mom who they think deserves to win (their own mother, a friend, a daughter, a cousin, etc.). She need not be extraordinary or exceptional to qualify for the search. There must be consent from the person to be nominated. The participant must write a description of the nominee in 500 words or less, focusing on the theme “Why My Mom Deserves to be Mother of the Year.” Entries must be submitted to Crush Communications Inc. (tel. no. 893-1434) or e-mailed to mags@crush.com.ph or jaeihan@crush.com.ph. All Mall Super Moms will be included in the grand finals where the “Mother of the Year” will win P50,000 and the person who nominated her, P7,000 tax-free.
Interested parties may likewise inquire at the ASCOF nomination booths in the different SM Supermalls. They may also submit handwritten or hard copies of their entries in English, Tagalog or Taglish at the ASCOF Mother of the Year booths.
