Balance Awards honors career moms

MANILA, Philippines - In a world where women often find themselves having to juggle work and family life, it’s uncommon to find moms who are successful in both fields. After all, it takes a strong and dedicated woman to excel in her chosen career and still be able to fulfill her responsibilities as wife and mother.

Recognizing this, Working Mom magazine  the magazine created for working moms who want to provide better lives for their families while succeeding in their respective careers  deemed it right to honor these exemplary moms through the Working Mom Balance Awards, which pays homage to women who are able to maintain a healthy balance when it comes to their careers and their families.

And the 7th Working Mom Balance Awards this year go to: Sun Life president and CEO Riza Mantaring, forensic pathologist Dr. Raquel Fortun, journalist Ces Drilon, fashion designer-entrepreneur Jeannie Goulbourn, PR maven Amor Maclang, environmentalist Leonarda Camacho, and Alma Cruz-Miclat, founder of the Maningning Miclat Art Foundation.
