Cervical cancer awareness month in Carmona

MANILA, Philippines - In celebration of Cervical Cancer Awareness Month last month, the municipal government of Carmona, through its Municipal Health Office, kicked off the free Pap smear service to mothers from different barangays. Mayor Dahlia Loyola, MD explained the importance of Pap smear in detecting viruses that may cause cervical cancer among women.
