MANILA, Philippines - Healthway Medical recently celebrated its 13th anniversary as the pioneer and leading mall-based clinic in the country with the theme “Healthway’s World Vision: Health, Wellness, and Environment” at the Alabang Town Center Plaza.
Healthway fulfills its corporate social responsibility through World Vision, which received the proceeds of P200,000 generated from the anniversary activities. World Vision is a humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families, and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice.
“We want to advocate the good life and touch lives, not just to promote health, wellness, and environment,” said Carmie De Leon, Healthway’s vice president for sales and marketing. “We want to create the awareness that each of us has a role to play and that we have to contribute to the community.”
Children from World Vision serenaded the guests to return Healthway’s generosity and drove home the fact that Healthway Medical does not only bring quality health care services but also takes part in contributing to the welfare of the community.
Other activities included wellness booths that offered free product samples and services, such as colon cancer consultation, cataract screening, and posture evaluation. Kids and their parents enjoyed face painting and the photo booth. Clarity’s facial spa attracted moms and teenagers to take a relaxing break in the middle of the day. Healthway also gave away discounted vaccination against cervical cancer in time for their celebration.
