Among the most common forms of allergy are atopic dermatitis (also called skin asthma), allergic rhinitis, and allergic asthma. Although these allergies affect different areas of the body, their common feature is that they cause itching.
In this booklet, leading medical experts discuss the three most common allergic diseases in simple layman’s language in order to inform the reader of the best ways to diagnose and treat these allergic conditions.
The booklet is the fourth title in the new health series of Milflores Publishing Inc. that aims to provide expert medical information on common diseases and health hazards at affordable prices. The first title was a guide to chronic kidney disease, the second was on anemia, and the third was on snoring.
The Milflores Health Series is edited by Dr. Agnes Dominguez Mejia, current chair of the UP-PGH Department of Medicine and a professor at the UP College of Medicine. She specialized in nephrology and hypertension in the US and has won national awards for her work in medical education.
