Trust fund for your special child

-

MANILA, Philippines - Do you worry about your child’s future?

It doesn’t matter whether you are rich or poor. Parents will always find a way to make sure that their child will have financial security. This need is even greater for parents who have children with developmental disabilities.

The Center for Possibilities, Inc., a foundation geared towards helping special children, understands the situation that parents of special children face and will again provide a Parent’s Support Group on Wednesday, Sept. 9 at Reach School International.

The topic for this month is “How to create a trust fund for your special child.” The guest speaker for that session is Alberto Emilio V. Ramos of China Bank.

As the head of the Private Banking Group of China Bank, Ramos is an expert when it comes to providing the most adequate solutions in solving financial problems of depositors. He also served as company president of PHILAM Asset Management, Inc. in 2004 and was on top of the overall management of the company. Ramos was also with the Bank of the Philippine Islands as Private Banking Division head, Foreign Exchange Commercial Division head, and Treasury Marketing Unit head.

The foundation’s core mission is to enhance the lives of children with developmental disabilities and provide support to their parents. In these tough economic times, the need to secure a child’s financial condition is greater than ever.
