MANILA, Philippines – The PNCC Foundation offers free treatment to diabetic gangrene patients. The socio-civic arm of the Philippine National Construction Company (PNCC), the foundation is calling all diabetic gangrene patients who are in need of assistance in treating the dreaded disease.
Gangrene is a foot infection caused by the progressive loss of blood supply in the feet. It is the most dreaded complication of diabetes. Patients who have been suffering from diabetes mellitus for a long time are prone to gangrene because of atherosclerosis, a diseased condition of the blood vessels which occurs at a faster rate for those with abnormal blood sugar levels.
Untreated gangrene can result in amputation, where the grossly infected foot is cut off to prevent the infection from spreading to the rest of the body.
The free treatment for diabetic gangrene patients focuses on boosting the immune system to heal the diseased blood vessels. The program adheres to a strict diet and the intake of a nutritional supplement.
According to Foundation director Rose Bonifacio, the treatment has been proven to cure diabetic gangrene patients without amputation. “Early results of the study showed that this treatment has cured patients afflicted with diabetic gangrene after a few months. The treatment protocol allows affected human cells to rebuild on their own.”
Bonifacio adds that studies have proven that the treatment can be used for other ailments like stroke, impaired hearing, auto-immune disease, asthma, leukemia, Alzheimer’s disease, and a host of other medical problems.
Interested parties can call 372-4434. The program can only accommodate a limited number of patients.
