The topic for this year's symposium will be on Avascular Necrosis of the Hip. This symposium is a pioneering effort in the history of Orthopedics since the PHKS will be conducting a live videoconference with various institutions worldwide simultaneously.
Among the participating institutions are the Stanford University Hospital, the University of California San Francisco, Singapore General Hospital, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the University of Ioannina in Greece and the Jewish Hospital Health Alliance in Cincinnati, Ohio.
The Society invited Prof. Myung Chui Yoo, Professor and Chairman of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Kyung Hee University Hospital in Seoul, Korea as its foreign speaker to talk on two topics pertaining to AVN of the hip.
