Phone brand launches new flagship with improved AI capacity
MANILA, Philippines — Electronics brand Samsung is gearing up for the latest release under its flagship Galaxy S series, the S25, which is its most intuitive and personalized AI phone to date.
The S25 consisting of the standard unit, the Ultra, and the S25+ have the thinnest designs of the series yet, being 25% slimmer than its predecessors but with an improved durable titanium build.
These new phones utilize the brand new One UI 7, which introduces multimodal and human-like AI agents that recognize and offer actionable suggestions.
The Circle to Search, as a top feature of the brand, now has enhanced recognition with sound, while a conversational search experience means there is no need to scroll the gallery or settings configuration.
A personalized AI experience sees the Now Brief feature summarizing anticipated morning checkup and evening accomplishments and a Now Bar feature with fast access to the lock screen.
One UI 7 will also make use of an integrated platform for cross-app action across Samsung and Google apps, plus third party applications, such as Spotify and WhatsApp.
This enables the UI to act as a personal concierge to unlock a multitude of actions like finding restaurants or making recipes via search or the camera.

Stronger hardware, better camera
On top of advanced AI features, the S25 carries the most powerful processor ever on Galaxy S series, the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy.
The best in class chipset and fastest for a mobile platform sees a performance boost of 40% in the neural processing unit (NPU), 37% in the central processing unit 0CPU), and 30% in the graphics processing unit (GPU) compared to the previous generation.
The newest processor allows phones to process more AI experiences on-device without compromise, including previously cloud-based tasks like the Generative Edit 9.
The processor is equipped with Vulkan Engine and improved Ray Tracing, making for smoother, supercharged, and more realistic mobile gaming, which is further enhanced by a 40% larger vapor chamber and a tailored thermal interface material for heat dissipation.
