Eyeglasses with built-it speakers, 'lightsaber' speaker companion among new JBL innovations
CEBU, Philippines — Audio manufacturer JBL released a new line of innovative products, including glasses with built-in speakers.
Leading the new line are updated versions of the popular Partyboxes, the Stage 320 and the Club 120, with modernized and egonormic designs.
Both have JBL Pro Sound and AI Sound Boost for optimal acoustic output, and multiple Partyboxes can be synced via Auracast.
Like other Partyboxes, the new versions come with guitar inputs and are compatible with respective wireless microphones, however, these have rechargeable and replaceable batteries to ensure playing time continues.
Visually improving the audio experience are the PartyLights Stick and Beam, the former a lightsaber-like speaker companion that syncs well to whatever music or audio is played.
The two PartyLights items connect to the new Partyboxes via Auracast, though they connect to older JBL products through a microphone that gauges the environment in order for the lights to match the audio.

Also getting updates are the brand's Live Beam, Buds, and Flex earbuds, now on their third versions with the first-ever smart charging cases that interact with one's phone for features like volume control and audio toggle.
Like previoius models, the new earbuds are splash- and dust-proof, boast spatial sound, and have adaptive noise canceling.
The biggest innovation yet are the Soundgear Frames — sleek, flexible, lightweight glasses made from thermoplastic materials with ultra-thin speakers powered by JBL OpenSound technology.
There are currently two types of Frames (round and square) that comes in three colors (Onyx, Pearl, Amber), each of them a user-friendly interface.
The lenses themselves are semitransparent and have an ultraviolent tint, but they can easily be replaced with prescription lenses for users who need such.
