MANILA, Philippines — A Taiwanese multinational hardware and electronics corporation recently showed to the press what it claims to be the country's "fastest" supercomputer.
The supercomputer, according to an Acer Philippines official, is not the country's first supercomputer, but it is the fastest in terms of speed.
"It's like combining the power of around 250 high-end laptops," the representative said.
"And it terms of storage, we can store up to 50 years of movie hours!"
The supercomputer's unveiling was alongside that of the brand's Swift 7, which the company claims to be "the world's thinnest" at 8.98 millimeters. — Video by EC Toledo IV
