Public school teachers attend ‘Liga Eskwela’

MANILA, Philippines – Public school teachers from various elementary attend the three-day coaching seminar and workshop on futsal for the “Liga Eskwela” program.  Liga Eskwela is presented by La Salle Green Hills Batch ‘73 and organized by the Henry V. Moran Foundation.  Sponsored by Toby’s Sports, the program aims to develop futsal (five-a-side indoor football) in public elementary schools. On January 30, 2016, 26 teams representing 11 public schools from six school districts in Metro Manila will compete in a one day futsal festival held at La Salle Green Hills, Mandaluyong City. With the teachers are coach Jess Landangan, Danny Moran, chairman Moran Foundation and coach Freddie Estacion (fifth, sixth and seventh from left). In second photo (right), students from Hen. Pio del Pilar Elementary School receive footballs  donated by One World Play Project.
