WATCH: iPhone 6 knocks out Samsung, HTC in speed test
MANILA, Philippines – iPhone 6 shamed Samsung Galaxy S5 and HTC One M8 in a speed test battle.
The review site PhoneBuff tested how long it takes each phone to perform a series of tasks. These tasks include opening of apps and games. To kick off the mobile competition, all phones were rebooted and connected to a mother WiFi network.
iPhone 6 completed the task in 1:55 minutes, followed by the HTC One M8 at 2:09 minutes. Samsung finished at 2:58 minutes.

The iPhone 6 weighs around 129 grams, making it much lighter than the Android flagships. Samsung Galaxy S5 weighs 145 grams while the HTC One (M8) is at 160 grams, the heaviest among the three. The new iPhone 6 is powered by the new Apple A8 chip with 64-bit architecture. The new A8 chip is an upgrade to the company's previous A7 chipset found in iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c.
