Canon's PIXMA E610 lets you scan, fax (and it's ink efficient too)
MANILA, Philippines - As far as ink efficiency goes, the Canon PIXMA E610 can be considered as one of the market's most economical for your daily office needs.
An all-in-one device that allows you to also scan and fax documents, it is capable of printing up to 800 pages per black cartridge and 400 per colored ones.
It is plug-and-play so setting up is easy—the installer downloads automatically via the Internet and its FastFront feature lets you replace the ink cartridge and load paper from the front quickly.
It can also scan and create PDF documents and it lets you add a security password to protect confidential information. The same goes for its fax features wherein the user has to enter the fax number a second time to prevent accidental transmission to the wrong receiver. If the two numbers do not match, the E610 cancels the fax.
When it comes to speed, the E610 can print a 4â€x6†borderless photo in under 50 seconds. It is able to make high quality prints using Canon’s FINE (Full-photolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering) technology, which is able to create microscopic 2pl ink droplets to print tiny details. A Hybrid system uses two different kinds of ink depending on the printing needs. For photos, it uses dye color for smooth color gradations while printing text uses Pigment black, an ink that prints sharp and crisp lettering.
And don’t you just hate it when documents fade through wear and tear? Well, with Canon’s ChromaLife100 system, you can be sure that your document is protected from exposure to light, gases, humidity and temperature. Even photos printed with this system are expected to last up to 100 years with proper storage conditions of course.
The E610 comes with the My Image Garden software for those who enjoy creating collages and calendars using your stored photos. It also has a simple editing feature that renews the vibrancy of old photos
The Canon PIXMA E610 has an SRP of PhP 5,995.
