Sun Cellular coverage in Davao, CDO

- The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Sun Cellular further boosts its signal down south with wider and stronger network coverage in Davao and in Cagayan De Oro.

Davao City is ranked 87th in the City Mayors Foundation’s list of fastest growing cities in the world. The city is famous as the home of Mount Apo, the Philippine’s highest peak, and the durian.

Cagayan De Oro is considered as the “Melting Pot of Mindanao” due to its accessibility. The identifying trait of its people is their hospitality, giving the city the moniker “The City of Golden Friendship.”

“We want to ensure that our customers will experience the best network coverage wherever they are in the country. Whether in northernmost reaches of Luzon or down south in Mindanao, customers may now rely on a stronger Sun Cellular signal,” says Charles A. Lim, chief operating officer of Sun Cellular.

Lim also revealed about the ongoing network enhancements to be rendered on other key Luzon areas. He highlighted Sun’s efforts to substantially boost coverage along the Banaue Rice Terraces in Ifugao, the mountainside areas of Sagada and the vast strawberry plantations of La Trinidad, Benguet.

“We pursue these developments to ensure that our enhanced services are felt even beyond the realms of the home and the business. As much as possible, we’d like to extend the promise of a better Sun Cellular network in areas where our customers would go and travel to,” adds Lim.

Sun Cellular is part of the PLDT Group.
