MANILA, Philippines - Experience all that the Sony Ericsson Xperia arc can offer for your multimedia and Internet pleasure in selected Sony Ericsson shops in the metro. Summer sizzles with the Xperia arc taking center stage in shops. Connecting via HDMI out to Sony Bravia TV screens, the Xperia arc showcases its superb visual quality for imaging, gaming and sharing pictures, videos and entertaining contents with friends.

Sony Ericsson Concept Shops in Digital Exchange, Glorietta; SM North EDSA Cyberzone, SM Megamall Cyberzone, Robinsons Place Ermita and SM Mall of Asia Cyberzone offer demonstrations of the Xperia arc linked to 41-inch Sony Bravia TVs.

The Xperia arc has a 4.2-inch multi-touch mineral glass display, aptly called the Reality Display, powered by the Sony Bravia Mobile Engine. This Sony screen technology brings noise reduction, contrast enhancement, color management and a sharpness filter, which together provide sharp, crisp and clear images on the screen.

The Xperia arc comes packaged with an HDMI cable, allowing users to plug and instantly view their Android smartphone’s contents on the big screen. So whether it’s watching videos or your picture slideshow, playing HD games, checking map locations or even e-mailing, the HD big screen viewing pleasure is an enhanced experience.

Aside from the Sony Bravia Mobile Engine, the Xperia arc also utilizes Sony Exmor R for mobile for shooting bright stills or video even in low light conditions. The Sony Exmor R technology can also be found in Sony Cyber-shots and Handycams. 

The Xperia arc has an 8.1-megapixel camera with Sony Smart Zoom feature. This lets Xperia arc crop in close on the central portion of interest in your photo while avoiding the image degradation of other digital zooms.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia arc comes in Midnight Blue and Misty Silver. Customers who purchase the Xperia arc can choose three out of 10 HD game titles to download until June 30. Some of the exciting HD game choices include Asphalt 5, Tom Clancy’s HAWX, Assassin’s Creed and Real Football 2011. Specially marked kits of the Xperia arc will also come with the AN-400 Sony Ericsson car charger.
