An eclipse is coming
MANILA, Philippines - Cherry Mobile is set to enter the smart phone market with its Microsoft-licensed Windows Phone known as the Cherry Mobile Eclipse. Adding to the excitement is Cherry Mobile’s special tie-up with the blockbuster Twilight movie franchise, with the third film in the series, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, in theaters on June 30.
Cherry Mobile’s foray into smart phone technology is welcome news for the market, as virtually all mobile phones in this category are often out of reach for the tech-savvy. Cherry Mobile Eclipse smart phone is powered by the latest Windows Mobile 6.5 platform, allowing users to use and enjoy PC-based Microsoft applications such as Internet Explorer, Windows Media Player and Microsoft Office in one hand-held multimedia device. Its many hi-tech features include a sleek 3.2-inch touch screen, Dual-SIM/Dual-standby capability, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, threaded messaging for a chat-like texting experience, and a pre-installed Facebook Mobile app that lets users update their Facebook status in real time.
