Globe Tattoo and Paramore rock Manila
MANILA, Philippines - The SM Mall of Asia concert grounds reverberated with the sound of screaming Paramore fans at the band’s first live performance in Manila last March 9. Presented by Globe Tattoo, the concert was an unforgettable event for the emo band’s devoted followers who rocked to the 15-song set performed by their idols and the “Thrilla in Manila” shirt worn by lead singer Hayley Williams.
Acknowledging the youth’s passion for music, Globe Tattoo made it possible for Paramore to perform in Manila. Over 50 Globe Tattoo subscribers won free tickets to the concert just by posting a picture of themselves with their Globe Tattoo Broadband sticks on Facebook, with a lucky few even getting the chance to meet and greet the band. As a Valentine’s gift to its subscribers, Globe Tattoo even offered a 10 percent discount on Paramore tickets from Feb. 12 to 14.
The Paramore concert was also the launch event of the innovative P10 Tingi Load of Globe, Tattoo and Touch Mobile. Paramore concertgoers were among the first to see and buy the easy-to-use and ultra-secure scratch cards.
