MANILA, Philippines - At the recently concluded annual Barber Shop event hosted by Gillette and Esquire Philippines, Gillette unveiled the Fusion ProGlide with FlexBall Technology, their latest product and technological breakthrough.
“For years, the shaving experience has been dogged with what men have referred to as ‘shave face’ — the typical scrunching and squeezing of one’s face in order to reach every surface and every last bit of stubble,” said Procter and Gamble Philippines’ chief marketing officer Ramachandra Golikere. “With FlexBall Technology, you can achieve a ‘no missed hair’ shave — like getting a professional shave from a barber, but at home, any day.” FlexBall allows the razor’s head to swerve and pivot to promote optimal contact with the skin’s surface.
At the event, men were enthusiastic about Gillette’s latest offering and clearly impressed with the debonair trim provided by the FlexBall. Marco Katigbak, owner of Felipe & Sons, hosted the event. “Felipe & Sons has a very traditional concept of men’s grooming, but here we see that even classic services and time-tested practices benefit from modern tools,” added Ramachandra Golikere. The Gillette X Esquire Barber Shop was open to the public until Sept. 12. Now, men are welcome to experience this top-of-the-line razor experience at home.
