MANILA, Philippines - Topman officially opened the doors to its newest store in the Mega Fashion Hall on May 28. Designed in Topman’s signature style, the store joins other global fashion brands in the newest wing of SM Megamall.
Topman’s 13th store in the Philippines, located at the third floor of the Mega Fashion Hall, carries the Cali and Pastel Black trends. Inspired by the ongoing surf trend of statement prints and layered wash denim, the Cali trend embodies a true Californian beach bum vibe. On the other hand, the Pastel Black trend is a fresh update of the sportswear lead trend. Classic pieces and “must have” joggers are mixed with muted brights for a more adventurous look.
Guests of the store enjoyed a performance by Taken by Cars, the first Filipino indie-rock band to perform at the South by Southwest (SXSW) Festival in Austin, Texas.
To further celebrate their opening day, Topman also launched an Instragram competition to give fans a chance to win a shopping spree from the brand. Fans simply had to take a photo of the Topshop Topman truck that roamed the streets of Manila starting May 28, and post it to their Instagram accounts with the hashtag #TopmanMegaFashionHall.
Topman takes an unswerving, energetic approach to high-street men’s fashion. Driving trends forward while shifting the way men approach shopping, Topman caters to a diverse crowd ranging from the trend conscious, to the man who wants to top up his wardrobe with basics and classic fashion staples, to sub-cultural groups largely driven by the music scene.
Topman stores are also located at Robinsons Galleria, Robinsons Place Ermita, Robinsons Magnolia, Power Plant Mall, TriNoma Mall, SM Mall of Asia, Podium, SM Aura, Greenbelt, Alabang Town Center, Shangri-La Plaza East Wing, and Ayala Center Cebu.
