Put your game face on

Chris Tiu and Marc Pingris are on the roster for this year’s Master Game Face 3-on-3 Challenge.

MANILA, Philippines - Master, a leading skin care brand for young men, fires up the basketball scene as it launches the Master Game Face 3-on-3 Challenge 2014, which gives basketball diehards another shot at becoming the next hardcourt star in the mold of their idols (and Master brand ambassadors), Chris Tiu and Marc Pingris.

“The Master Game Face Basketball Project was very successful last year and this time we want to up the ante. We will have tougher challenges and new basketball stars such as Marc Pingris together with Chris Tiu in the upcoming roster, so we call on young men all over the country to get up to 8 hours of no oil with Master and put their Game Faces on in the Master Game Face 3-on-3 challenge,” says Master brand manager Jonathan Pua.

Game Face 3-on-3 challenge

Now in its second year, the Master Game Face 3-on-3 Challenge encourages young basketball players to stay fresh and oil-free as they play, and search for the country’s next basketball star through a series of 3-on-3 challenges in different barangays and universities nationwide. The search began Feb. 17.

To join the Master Game Face 3-on-3 Challenge, interested male players aged 16-30 can sign up at a participating school or barangay hall that will field teams of three players each. Each team must then present one link of Master Facial Wash sachets to be able to register and play. A roving Master Game Face van will also be going around the baranggay or university three to five days before the scheduled challenge in their area.

The Master Game Face 3-on-3 Challenge will have six Conference Finals: Zones 1 and 2 in GMA, North Luzon, South Luzon, Central Visayas and Mindanao. It will be going to a total of 200 barangays and universities nationwide within these six Zones.  Interested participants can check out the Master Philippines Facebook page to check if the Master Game Face 3-on-3 Challenge will happen in their barangay or school.

Each team will play elimination matches until they reach the barangay championship match. Winners from all the barangay and universities will advance to the Conference Finals. They will also receive a cash prize as well as special gift packs from Master.

The search culminates in the Master Game Face All-Star Face Off on June 21, 2014 where the Top team from each Conference Zone will compete with one another. The ultimate winner will receive a P50,000 cash prize and special Master gift packs. They will also get to play with Master ambassadors Chris Tiu and Marc Pingris in the culminating all-star basketball match on June 21. The Master Game Face All-Star Face Off will also include some of the best UAAP and NCAA basketball heroes as well as select PBA players to complete the lineups for Team Chris Tiu and Team Marc Pingris.

Putting an Oil-Free, Game Face everywhere

With a complete line of face care products including facial wash, face cleansers and face moisturizers for the highly competitive sportsman, Master takes basketball to a whole new level. As shown in Master’s latest TV commercial featuring Chris Tiu and Marc Pingris, oil can reduce a player’s effectiveness in the game.

Boosting anti-oil protection, Master Oil Control Max Facial Wash has the revolutionary Cooling Zeroil formula that gives up to eight hours of no oil for that fresh game face look to bring out the best in anyone’s game — even off the court.

As one of the most exciting and dynamic brands in the country, Master also teaches young men proper facial grooming before and after playing through a series of demonstrations and wet sampling activities during the Master Game Face 3-on-3 Challenges in the barangays and universities.
