Bringing football closer to Filipinos this season

-

MANILA, Philippines - Christmas is a good time to celebrate the things closest to one’s heart, and proudly-Filipino retail brand Collezione-C2 does exactly this by supporting a cause that shares the brand’s commitment to promote national pride and nurture local talent: The Younghusband Football Academy (TYFA)’s football programs. For every TYFA-Collezione-C2 shirt sold, a portion of the purchase price will be donated to TYFA to support its various initiatives, such as the “Train the Trainers” program, an effort done in partnership with local government units where PE teachers are taught how to maximize existing facilities to teach football to their students.

Established by footballer brothers James and Phil Younghusband, TYFA offers well-rounded football training for kids and teens that touches on a mixture of different skills that need to be honed for the sport. The Academy also raises funds to run its grassroots program, which aims to offer free training in public schools, as well as a scholarship program in partnership with Gawad Kalinga and DSWD to send deserving but less fortunate kids to the academy.

TYFA-Collezione-C2 shirts are available in the following Collezione-C2 branches: Mall of Asia, TriNoma, Greenbelt 5, Festival Mall, Market Market, Robinson’s Place Ermita, Glorietta, Power Plant Mall, Robinson’s Galleria 3, SM Davao, SM Iloilo, Abreeza Mall Davao, SM Cebu, SM Cagayan de Oro.
