Why blend in when you can Jazz stand out

-

MANILA, Philippines - Honda Cars Philippines Inc. (HCPI) recently unveiled the new Honda Jazz Brilliant Orange at the NBC Tent.

HCPI president and general manager Hiroshi Shimizu said that Honda Jazz has become a fashion icon in the field of mobility, radiating its own sense of style that is unique and full of life. “The Honda Jazz is one small car that is definitely not small in style, space and substance. And so, we thought of collaborating with the country’s top fashion designers to personify the Honda Jazz in an exclusive summer collection.”

HCPI collaborated with fashion designers for a show with the theme “Jazz Stand Out” inspired by the newest color addition and show-stopping brilliant orange. Five different collections were featured on the runway. The five collections were based on the market profile of the Honda Jazz: “Hip” for street style, “Young” for the young professionals, “Fun” for mixing and matching, “Active” for the sporty, and “Trendy” for the partygoer.

Forever young: Pieces designed by Veejay Floresca for Honda Jazz

Denim lord Ino Caluza represented menswear with his collections for the “Hip” and “Active” segments. Known for his custom-fitted jeans, Ino incorporated the spacious and functional features of the Jazz in his collection by adding more pockets in the design.

Female fashion savants also got a taste of summer style from Veejay Floresca as he created three unique collections for the “Young,” “Fun” and “Trendy” segments. Inspired by how Jazz fits any lifestyle, Veejay presented a multi-function outfit that can easily change looks from day to night. The designers made use of the colors black, white, light grey and dark grey to represent the color lineup for the 2011 Honda Jazz, and in each segment the theme once again came alive as special orange pieces stood out from the rest of the collections.

PMAP models Phoemela Baranda, Raya Mananquil, Bianca Valerio, Mikee Carrion, and Peter Nordell modeled the striking orange pieces. The event was hosted by Sarah Meier. But the unparalleled star of the night was the stylish and spacious Honda Jazz with its new sporty design, premium features and standout color.

With the objective of bringing fresh and innovative products to consumers, HCPI also introduced the augmented-reality, technology-based Jazz brochure that allowed guests to experience it firsthand. Being first to use the locally produced augmented reality (AR) technology in the country through the Jazz online game called “Chompin Jazz” in September last year, vehicle sales and corporate communications head Voltaire Gonzales demonstrated how the interactive brochure works.

The Honda Jazz, now in brilliant orange, has become a fashion icon in the field of mobility, radiating its own sense of style that is unique and full of life.

Gonzales said, “Tonight, we bring you another one-of-a-kind concept as we challenged these talented designers to create an exclusive summer collection that takes inspiration from our current tagline, ‘Style + Space.’”

The 2011 Honda Jazz comes in alabaster silver, taffeta white, polished metal, crystal black pearl and brilliant orange.
