MANILA, Philippines - Manila Bay Hosiery Mills, Inc (MBMHI), a pioneering hosiery company in the country, launches the first line of Goldtoe socks made from natural and sustainable resources called Elements, available at SM Mall of Asia, SM Megamall, and SM Makati.

Coming in three different environmentally friendly fabrications — Bamboo, Modal and Tencel — this line features new age fibers and comes in six stylish designs suited for daily wear.

Bamboo, known as nature’s antibacterial fiber, is one of the easiest and fastest plants to grow as it does not require much water. You will be surprised by the superior softness, absorbability and comfort it gives. Also, unlike cotton and linen which require pesticides during cultivation, bamboo fiber socks are intrinsically chemical-free.

Modal and tencel are also two of the world’s best-kept fibers. Modal, a fiber made from beechwood trees, remains soft and supple despite repeated wearing and washing. It feels great against skin and is 100-percent biodegradable. Tencel, from the eucalyptus tree, is best known for its “moisture transport” properties as it naturally absorbs and releases moisture, giving much relief to skin.
