MANILA, Philippines - Smelling good plays a major role in the dating scene — and the mating game.
This is what guests learned at the recently concluded Axe Twist launch. After revealing that 77 percent of Filipinas want their men to be a bit more unpredictable, Axe — one of the Philippine’s leading male grooming brands — unveiled its latest variant, one that promises to give women what they want.
Axe Twist is the latest fragrance, one that “sets itself apart as the first scent that changes over time thus making men more interesting,” according to an Axe spokesperson.
More than giving the event a touch of their own humor, Slick Rick, Tony Toni and Sam YG raved about the latest scent from the Axe Lab. “I’d use it to get and keep any woman I want,” one special guest shared. “Axe definitely scored with this one — I’m hoping I get to score, too, if you know what I mean,” he added.
Apart from the Boy’s Night Out, three scent experts gave guests a “Scent 411,” revealing the science behind Axe Twist.
Nash Casten, a representative from Troy Dizon Dating Community, shared three tips on how men can work around women in the dating scene. “Smile and be all about fun, tell her why you like her and lead or leave —
Brian Duruin, brand manager for Axe, also told guests that Axe Twist can indeed boost their game. “Axe is known to be the scent of attraction,” he explained. “With Axe Twist keeping sweat from smelling and being the first fragrance that changes over time, it can not only help you get the girl — you may also get to keep her.”
Meanwhile, Alex Friele, a renowned international fragrance expert, shed scientific light on the new fragrance. “It bares the scent of fresh citrus and gradually changes to the smell of sandalwood — a sensual surprise and edge that Axe Twist body spray possesses.”
Indeed, it was a phenomenal launch that may change the way men think about women. Now, it’s their turn to change the way women think about them.
