The fast and the furious highlight 18th Trans Sport Show

MANILA, Philippines – Excitement is in the air as the 18th Trans Sport Show formally opens Wednesday, April 22 through Sunday, April 26 at the Megatrade Halls of SM Megamall, Building B, Mandaluyong City.

Annually, Trans Sport Show features as part of its main show gleaming entries from dedicated Filipino car crafters and avid car enthusiasts. The trade and exhibition areas meanwhile feature high-quality automotive products and launches during the show.

Billed the “Car Show for Enthusiasts by Enthusiasts,” Trans Sport Show, now on its 18th run, never ceases to amaze car connoisseurs. “Trans Sport Show always maintains a good number of vintage and classic cars to showcase every year, combined with contemporary custom cars,” says Sophie Delos Santos, president of TradeShow International, Inc. (TSI), the event organizer. “It actually covers a wide spectrum of people who express their individualism through their automobiles,” explains Delos Santos.

There’s no equal to the Trans Sport Show, an annual mecca for car lovers, with the country’s best car restorers once again raring to showcase their entries and vie the top honors at the Trans Sport Show Cup Competition which is one of the main attractions of the prestigious motoring event.

Every year, this much-awaited event draws Filipino car aficionados and craftsmen with a keen passion for automobiles. Among the repeat participants this year is renowned Filipino sculptor Ramon Orlina, who will be showcasing his latest reimagined Volkswagen Beetle.
