MANILA, Philippines - Topman’s latest collection waxes nostalgic about the Fifties.
The overall look is reminiscent of childhood holidays, the feelings of awkward adolescence and teenage enthusiasm. As such, the getups are preppy and the colors are youthfully bold and bright.
Topman’s “Spring Break” collection features shirts and jersey polos decked with lines, stripes, checks and dots. There are slim jackets, trim cardigans and other contrasting pieces that make for a natty boyish style. Bottoms are a mix of cotton slim roll-up trousers, slim leg jeans, and shorts that come in different designs, materials and cuts.
A distinctly Topman “Spring Break” ensemble would be an eye candy Jersey polo worn underneath a short sleeve knit cardigan and finished off with Breton striped cagoules, check hold-alls and deck shoes. Or a motley plaid shirting paired with cropped check trousers or bright colored shorts.
Topman is opening its first stand-alone store in Greenbelt 3 Makati, and is offering special discounts and freebies. Other Topman outlets are in Robinsons Place Ermita, Robinsons Galleria, The Podium, Power Plant Mall, and SM Mall of Asia.
