Recipe: Make your own Beef Samgyupsal at home

MANILA, Philippines — Have you been frequenting Korean restaurants because you simply love Samgyupsal? This Korean meat dish seems to agree so much with the Filipino palate that it has become one of the top favorites of Pinoys when it comes to Korean dishes.
While it is convenient to have Korean restaurants prepare the ingredients for you so you can just enjoy eating it, you can make it at home, too, with very little effort.

Beef Bacon Samgyupsal
Ingredients:
2 packs (200 gramd each) Purefoods Deli Beef Bacon
3 tbsps. miso paste
1/4 tbsp. Gochujang*
1/2 cup store-bought Kimchi*
14 pcs. curly lettuce leaves
Procedure:
1. Heat pan and add bacon slices. Cook until crispy.
2. Arrange bacon, miso paste, Gochujang (*Korean red chili paste, available in Korean and Asian grocery stores), Kimchi (*traditional Korean side dish of salted and fermented cabbage), and lettuce on a platter.
3. To consume, wrap in lettuce leaves a few pieces of bacon strips, Gochujang, miso paste, and Kimchi.
