MANILA, Philippines — Host Ryan Bang opened his first fine dining Korean restaurant Paldo in Quezon City.

In an interview with the media during the opening of what he said was the "first fine dining Korean restaurant in the Philippines," Ryan said that he wanted Filipinos to taste the finest Korean food, not only Samgyupsal (Korean barbecue of grilled pork belly).

“Paldo, talaga, it’s our own concept in the Philippines. Wala namang Paldo sa Korea. It’s our original brand starting here sa Philippines,” he said.

Dito sa Paldo, talagang you can experience Korea kahit hindi kayo pumunta sa Korea. Pwede talaga kayo dito mag-try ng Korean traditional food,” he added.

The "It's Showtime" host said that his restaurant will give Filipinos budget-friendly yet authentic Korean food.

Talagang it is affordable. Kami ang ginawa namin less than P2,000.
