Croissaymada, Pili Cheesecake, Poke Tacos at Ultimate Taste Test 2022
MANILA, Philippines — More than just a celebration of food, life and love, the Ultimate Taste Test (UTT) is the affirmation that some home-based and start-up food businesses are looking for the big break they need for their respective small-scale businesses to finally soar.
There are titles at stake, and getting into the elite circle of winners will ultimately spell success for them. Putting their best foot forward to entertain some 200 judges going around the venue to taste the specialty food being sold at the stalls, rate them, and choose the winners; the food purveyors are confident that the event is the final push that they need to succeed.
The annual celebration of unique, premium and delicious food took place as scheduled at Gallery Mira Nila late last year.
A total of 116 judges (made up of chefs, food bloggers, food writers and restaurateurs) went around to taste the food, rated them from 1 to 5, with 5 being the highest, and chose the winners.
