MANILA, Philippines - Outback Steakhouse recently opened in Eastwood City Walk 1. The new branchh is decked in a warm palette with contemporary wood furnishing and a bar set with modern design elements, spacious dining area, décor and wall color scheme that matches the contemporary ceiling.
At the opening, Outback Steakhouse turned over its support to SOS Children’s Village as part of “Outback Gives Back,” Outback’s corporate social responsibility initiative.
“The aim of restaurant business should not be just creation of wealth but a pool of satisfied people — everyone from customers to staff, business partners, and vendors,” said Prasoon Mukherjee, first generation entrepreneur, philanthropist and chairman of Universal Success Group, which holds the franchise for Outback Steakhouse in Southeast Asia. “That is our recipe for success. The Philippines is one of the most robust countries in the region for the food and beverage industry. With a burgeoning middle class with surplus incomes and a growing economy, Philippines remains our strongest bet for fuelling Outback’s growth in the region.”
Prasoon added, “Outback Steakhouse’s extensive and carefully-planned menu is designed around ‘Big, Bold, Fresh Flavors’ — whereby we are best known for our generous portion of dishes, boldly seasoned with our secret 17-spice blend and freshly made-from-scratch in our kitchen using the finest ingredients sourced from around the world.” This unique feature is also showcased as part of the store décor — the “fresh wall” displaying these secret spices is a prominent part of the restaurant.
Making sure everything is right for customers, the “No Rules, Just Right” is an essential part of the restaurant’s values and coded into its DNA.
“Our staff genuinely care about our guests and we are ready to break conventions to deliver a delicious, ‘no worries’ dining experience. At Outback, we go out of our way to personalize your experience so that every visit to our restaurants is truly a special occasion,” added Prasoon. “Giving back and sharing our success with society has been part of the DNA of Outback and Universal Success Enterprises. We truly believe that with success, comes the moral responsibility of sharing it. We are fortunate that we can play some role in helping Filipino children to lead better lives. We are also thankful to everyone including our celebrity servers who join us in our efforts.”
