TGIFridays Philippines Shines in New York

MANILA, Philippines - The Bistro Group, the pioneer and leader in casual dining restaurants that brought TGIFridays to the country, took the spotlight at the recent TGIFridays Worldwide and Global Leaders Conference in New York. The Philippine team, led by chairman and CEO William Stelton and President and COO Jean Paul Manuud, was honored with awards on leadership, best practices, store expan- sion and bartending. The most prestigious Eagle Award was handed to Stelton, the only awardee in that category.

TGIFridays VP for business development Amalia Palisoc also beamed with pride as she received the 2015 Bulldog Award for tenacity and perseverance in opening four restaurants from end 2015 to January 2016. Meanwhile, the operations team led by VP Guia Abuel received a certificate of recognition and a TGIFridays pin for its exceptional training initiatives.
