MANILA, Philippines - Mario’s offers breakfast daily. Take your pick from traditional Filipino breakfasts with garlic fried rice and two eggs cooked to your liking, plus a choice of crispy danggit Cebu, boneless bangus served as daing Bonoan, tinapang bangus or paksiw na bangus belly. There is also paksiw na ulo ng salmon or dulong in olive oil.
Those who love longganisa can choose from Vigan, Lucban, Alaminos or Tuguegarao. Also on the menu are twice-cooked Quezon chicken adobo, Batangas beef tapa, tapang usa, baboy damo, bistek Filipino and arroz a la Cubana.
Also try the Millenium Platter with garlic fried rice, two eggs and any two combinations of danggit, daing na bangus, chicken pork adobo or Vigan longganisa.
International breakfast favorites include corned beef hash, designer omelet with choices of fillings, steak and eggs, scrambled eggs with dill smoked salmon, seafood roulade or omelet stuffed with shrimp, crab, mushroom and tomato served with hash brown and toast.
Pancake lovers can try three plain pancakes with butter and maple syrup or the Grand Slam of two pancakes, sausage, eggs and bacon. Pandesal with either Spanish sardines or queso blanco served with Spanish chocolate are also on the menu, along with oatmeal served plain or with strawberry or banana.
