MANILA, Philippines - The International College of Hotel Management (ICHM) of Australia, the first and only Swiss Hotel Association (SHA) hotel management school outside Europe, opens its doors to qualified applicants through its “Study Abroad program.”
Open to both hotel and non-hotel management practitioners, the program provides applicants the opportunity to study in Australia and acquire real, honest-to-goodness hotel industry experience that will help them develop new skills and expose them to different work systems and practices.
The program will be conducted in Adelaide for six months, with the students being given the option to undertake a paid work placement for another six months at no extra cost.
The program is composed of at least six subjects, with the courses to be included dependent on each student’s area of interest or background.
To join the program, applicants must be a student or a graduate not more than three years out of the university.
To qualify for the ICHM course, students must have the basic qualification of an IELTS (International English Language Testing System) score of 6.0 English (or equivalent). At the end of the program, each student shall receive a certificate of completion and a transcript.

For their board and lodging, students have the option to stay on campus during the semester and avail themselves of ICHM’s on-campus accommodations and perks comprising of villa-type apartments, three meals a day, computer and Internet access.
However, if a student has budget limitations, he can choose to live off-campus.
