While most Fiipinos are used to eating traditional fresh oysters, there are new and unconventional ways in which oysters are served for those who crave for this seafood gem.
Oysters, a popular seafood in Japan according to Via Mare General Manager Rany Rono is now getting popular among local customers.
The 40-year-old Via Mare launched its Oyster Bar in the 80s which now specializes in serving most succulent oysters in various ways.
Currently, there are nine oyster specialties you may try from Oyster Bar Via Mare’s menu which instills its continental taste and keeps up with the modern times.
These oysters, available at the Oyster Bar Via Mare in Makati are flown in fresh from Roxas City everyday.
Rono said although there are several places in the archipelago offering oysters, Roxas City has "the most consistent good quality oysters.”
