Food crawl at SM Mall of Asia
MANILA, Philippines - There’s nothing like comfort food to warm up rainy days. The term comfort food can be traced back to 1966 when the Palm Beach Post used it in a story: “Adults, when under severe emotional stress turn to what could be called comfort food – food associated with the security of childhood, like mother’s poached egg or famous chicken soup.”
And with cooler – and stormier - days ahead, there’s nothing like a warm bowl of soup for a hearty meal and a little taste of home to fill your stomach and warm your heart.
At SM Mall of Asia, one finds comfort food from all over Asia – hand-pulled noodles simmering in flavorful broths with fresh vegetables, and choice cut meat -- in its restaurant row.
