MANILA, Philippines - After becoming famous for its hot and flavorful burgers and burritos, it’s amazing to discover that Army Navy traces its beginnings amid the chilly winds and relaxed locale of Tagaytay.

It was in 2009  that the first Army Navy  served as the test kitchen for all its menu items today. It was also in Tagaytay that Army Navy first got its military look.

Army Navy has become the go-to place for simple, straight-out delicious Mexican-inspired food.

Army Navy is especially proud of its Mexican menu, which offers an arsenal of appetizing items that will surely leave everyone yearning for a bite – after bite, after bite.

The Burritos are made with meat, Spanish rice, beans, onions, lettuce, and cilantro. Served with salsa and a slice of lime, Army Navy’s burritos come in Steak (P195), Chicken (P175), or Pork (P190) variants. Veggie-loving folks will also find delight in the Vegetarian Burrito (P175) which comes packed with healthier ingredients such as tomatoes, green bell pepper, and guacamole. Breakfasts also get a more delicious kick with the Steak Breakfast Burrito (P195) and Longganisa Breakfast Burrito (P185), both served with toasted hash-browns, scrambled eggs, and cilantro.

Army Navy also serves some mean tacos – both soft and crunchy. Choose from the soft bunch of Steak Taco (P185), Chicken Taco (P145), and Pork Taco (P175) or feel the crunch with Crunchy Tacos (P160) filled with meat, tomatoes, onions, lettuce, and cheese.

If quesadillas are more your thing, then indulge in the Army Navy recipe filled with meat, cheese, sautéed onions, and green bell pepper, and toasted and served with salsa. Choose from the Steak Quesadilla (P180), Chicken Quesadilla (P170), and Cheese Quesadilla (P110). While you’re at it, try the open-faced Quesadilla too. Called Querida Mia, these babies are topped with cheese and other savory ingredients. Take your pick from the Querida Mia Plain (P145), Baja (P165), Baja Chicken (P195), and Charlie Bravo (P195).
