MANILA, Philippines - Like most everything else in our lives, gift cards are going digital. And most of us couldn’t be happier. Imagine, no more slick roads, kilometric cash register lines, pushy salesgirls, parking nightmares, and mall hours to deal with.
By going online, you can shop for holiday presents at your own pace, in the comforts of your own home, or even office. Also, online stores never close. So if you can’t sleep, at least you can shop!
This season of giving, The Bistro Group takes the guesswork out of gift-buying for your foodie friends, relatives, and associates as it offers the eGift Card and Premiere Card, which they can use in any of Bistro’s 10 restaurant concepts: TGIFriday’s, Italianni’s, Fish &Co, Krazy Garlik, Village Tavern, Bulgogi Brothers, Watami, Modern Shanghai, Tonkatsu by Terazawa, and Siklab. The Bistro Group Premiere Card, which is priced at P2,500, offers discounts and freebies in any of these concept restaurants.
“The Bistro Group’s eGift Card is a hassle-free way to easily make someone feel special. It’s ideal for Millennials who like gift cards, but prefer digital delivery and storage,” explains Lisa Ronquillo, AVP for marketing, The Bistro Group.
“We also want to catch up with the trends where people do more business and transactions online. It allows our guests to purchase anytime, anywhere 24/7. They need not go to our restaurants to buy the eGift Card. Even OFWs can purchase the eGift Card for their families here in the Philippines,” Ronquillo adds.
Here’s how it works: Guests can avail themselves of the eGift Card and Premiere Card by logging on at giftaway.ph/thebistrogroup. There are three easy steps to follow:
STEP 1, choose the desired denomination (P500, P1,000 or the Premiere Card at P2,500) of the e-GC you want to send.
STEP 2, set the recipient details (name, email, mobile number and your personalized message, which is optional). You also have the option to send the e-GC via SMS, email or both.
STEP 3, wrap it up. Fill up your personal details and choose a payment method (Visa, MasterCard or PayPal).
“It’s a digital gift card with a unique code and your personalized message. The code has a corresponding value that the recipient can use for purchase at any of restaurants and their locations,” adds Ronquillo.
When claiming, the recipient must bring a valid ID and provide the eGift Card code to any of the participating restaurant’s staff for validation. The code may be relayed to the staff verbally, from a mobile phone or a printout.
If, say, the recipient loses the code, email Bistro at support@giftaway.ph. Indicate the mobile number or email address to which the code was initially sent. The code will be resent after the support team has verified the mobile number and/or email. It’s that easy!
Now, you don’t have to go on a mad rush to the mall just to complete your Christmas shopping. By simply logging on to giftaway.ph/thebistrogroup, choosing, buying, and sending gifts is just a click away.
