What’s on the Menu? Kansas mashed potato cakes at TGI Friday’s
MANILA, Philippines - TGI Friday’s Philippines offers its “Taste of America” until Nov. 30 as it celebrates 20 years in the country. First up is Kansas Mashed Potato Cakes, which are deep-fried potato cakes stuffed with caramelized onions and mixed cheese, topped with Colby cheese, crisp bacon and drizzled with horseradish cream. It is served with a special aioli Sriracha dip. The Miami Cubano Chicken Stack is two lightly breaded chicken breasts stacked with shredded mozzarella, sliced ham and stir-fry mushrooms. This Cuban-style fare is drizzled with lemon cream sauce, garnished with fresh tomato basil mix and served with rice pilaf. There’s the Southwestern Shrimp Caesar Salad that has grilled blackened plump shrimps sitting atop a Southwestern salad. It is served with crispy tortilla chips. Also a must-try is the Chicago Braised Pork Belly.
Enjoy these delicious treats with a glass of mojito that comes in two new flavors: Chili Pineapple Mojito (with mint leaves, Bacardi white rum, fresh sour rocks mix, fresh pineapple juice, simple syrup, lime, chili and soda) and the Apple Cucumber Mojito (mint leaves, Bacardi white rum, fresh apple juice, simple syrup, cucumber, apple slice and soda).
