Eat Out Manila: Quick, easy restaurant booking app

MANILA, Philippines – Ditch the long queue of customers and that hassle of restaurant hunting with the latest app that offers a brand new experience of dining out in Metro Manila. Eat Out Manila provides a quick and easy way to lock in a table at any restaurant within Metro Manila through your smartphone. 

Eat Out Manila grants you the most convenient way to book a restaurant by giving the list of restaurants within 250 meters to 50 kilometers and by letting you search for the restaurants based on your cuisine preference (e.g, Spanish, Italian, Filipino) and budget.

Aside from that, users will also have access to discounts, gift certificates and freebies directly from the restaurants tied up with Eat Out Manila. On a press conference on August 29 at Spanish restaurant Rambla, Eat Out Manila founder I?aki Lamata said that they offer an exclusive app. “Our deals are direct from the restaurant and we just pass it on,” he said.

Among the restaurants in partnership with the apps include Rambla, Lulu, Vyne, The Glass Door, Las Flores, Abe, Crisostomo, Mango Tree, and Murray and D’Vine.

I?aki  also boasts that unlike other booking apps, Eat Out Manila is not a franchise of anyone. Therefore, the app can really be customized for the taste of Filipinos.

To show that the app is simple, Inaki demonstrated how to use the app in four easy steps - select the date, the time, the number of people, then click book. There is also an option for cancelation.
Initially, the app is only available through the Apple iTunes store, but they are looking forward to make it available in Google Playstore within this year.
