Bringing Quezon’s best to Manila

MANILA, Philippines - Anna Villaraza-Suarez, through the label Q (for Quezon) is bringing the province’s unique food products like pancit habhab, longganiza, crispy pata, dried beef tapa, and shrimp paste to foodies in the city.

Other Q products include corn coffee, made by KALIPI members from roasted corn grits; yellow ginger tea by KALIPI and Rural Improvement Club members; pickled garlic, made by the Federation of Farmers Association and best served with grilled food as an appetizer or part of a cheese platter; shredded smoked fish flakes, produced by the fishermen-husbands of KALIPI members using tamban and galunggong and ideal for any pancit dish, monggo, pasta, or rice; arrow root (uraro) cookies, made by the wives and children of a farmers’ cooperative and developed with the Department of Science & Technology (DOST), the Department of Trade & Industry, and provincial and municipal local government units.
