MANILA, Philippines -The 1st Manila Food and Wine Festival (MFWF), a project of the Culinary Education Foundation in cooperation with the Department of Tourism, successfully celebrated Filipino food, Filipino chefs, and Filipino hospitality. It was Sofitel’s Spiral restaurant, which achieved the highest sales honor and Bernard Krishnan, Sofitel Luxury Hotels’ assistant director of food & beverage, accepted the certificate in behalf of the hotel.
The 1st MFWF was organized to raise a scholarship fund to fulfill the culinary dreams of 500 Filipino students.
