MANILA, Philippines -The Center for Culinary Arts (CCA) recently published the first volume of the book series, Philippine Ingredients, and is available as an e-book that may be downloaded for free at the school’s official website.

Edited by CCA’s chancellor for education, Dr. Ma. Veritas F. Luna, RND, Philippine Ingredients, Volume 1: Vegetables and Fruits is a 176-page visual reference of vegetables and fruits endemic to the Philippines.

The maiden volume is available for free as an e-book and may be downloaded from CCA’s official website (www.cca-manila.com). Dr. Luna explained that she and CCA decided to share the book “as a gift to the profession, academe and industry, and for the promotion of awareness of our rich resource of fruits and vegetables in the country.”
