A ‘Nutcracker’ Christmas at Manila Hotel

MANILA, Philippines - This season, enter into the world of magic and fantasy as Manila Hotel takes inspiration from The Nutcracker, one of the well-loved Christmas fairytales of all time. Take a trip to a magical land of sweets and experience a sparkling holiday classic.

The lighting of the Christmas Tree led by Manila Mayor Alfredo S. Lim, Manila Hotel president Atty. Joey Lina, and Manila Hotel executive vice president Enrique Y. Yap Jr., signaled the beginning of the festivity. Children from the House of Refuge joined the celebration and treated with fun games and activities. As part of its corporate social responsibility, Manila Hotel will also offer limited-edition The Nutcracker Cookie Jar wherein proceeds from the sales will be donated to the House of Refuge.

To complete the Nutcracker Christmas experience, Manila Hotel will present The Nutcracker by Ballet Manila featuring prima ballerina Lisa Macuja- Elizalde. The gala performance is on Dec. 15 at 6 p.m. at its grand lobby.

The Gingerbread Clock House is where all the Nutcracker goodies are available.

Diners at Café Ilang-Ilang are in for a grand feast as Manila Hotel executive chef Konrad Walter prepares an exciting selection of traditional holiday and Manila Hotel favorites for Christmas Eve and Day buffets for P2,500+ per person only. Enjoy your favorite puto bumbong, bibingka, and hot chocolate offered from P1,000+ per person from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m.  Traditional yuletide delights set menus will be offered from Dec. 12 to 25. Price starts at P1,300 + per person.  The Land of Sweets Gift collection available at the Deli.
