Alot of ladies have closets filled with articles of clothing that are no longer wearable. Whether due to weight gain or loss, they no longer fit. It does not make sense to hang on to these items.
Zee Lifestyle recently provided the perfect motivation to clean out the closet and make room for stylish purchases at a fraction of the price with “Zee Fashion Finds,” a designer bazaar that showcased branded pieces from some of the most fashionable personalities and celebrities from Cebu.
For two days, the Rizal Library Building became a treasure trove of Kate Spade and Prada handbags, evening gowns from Filipino fashion gurus Inno Soto, Cary Santiago, and international designers Vera Wang, Armani, Diane Von Furstenburg and other noteworthy artists and labels. All items were sold at great value-for-money prices.
Notable collections from Cebu’s fashion sources such as Gladys Young, Loida Montesclaros, Cherie Miller, Noreen Tseng, Rere Dakay and Butch Carungay’s Avatar were likewise on display.
For refreshments, a bistro-café by David’s Restaurant was onsite for shoppers who needed to take a breather.
The funds raised will be used to improve existing facilities of the prewar-era colonial Rizal Library Building and the Beautiful Cebu Movement Foundation, whose projects include streetlamps and waiting sheds and making Osmeña Boulevard reflective of historical Cebu.
“Zee Fashion Finds” was part of Zee Fashion Forward, a four-day event that celebrated style and fashion and culminated with a fashion show from designer Furne One, whose Dubai-based Amato Couture has dressed the likes of Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj and Jennifer Lopez.
Along with major sponsors Samsung and Tresemmé, makeup was provided by Rustan’s brands Laura Mercier, Nars and Stila. After the fabulous fashion show, invitees were treated to a selection of drinks from Grey Goose.
