MANILA, Philippines - Chef Eugene shares the recipe of delectable Oriental Beef Rolls. Oriental Beef Rolls
Ingredients:
3 tbsps. oyster sauce
2 tbsps. hoisin sauce
2 tbsps. peanut butter
2 tbsps. minced garlic
1 tsp. sesame oil
1 tbsp. soy sauce
pinch pepper
1/2 tsps meat tenderizer (optional)
500 g. thinly sliced beef sirloin,
cut into 2” x5” pieces
100 g. bacon
12 pcs. fresh asparagus, washed

Procedure:
1. Blend first eight ingredients in a Glad Freezer Zipper Bag. Toss in beef slices and marinate for at least two hours.
2. Wrap two spears of asparagus with a slice of bacon. Place wrapped asparagus on one end of a beef slice and roll (morcon style). Wrap beef portion with Glad Aluminum Foil to hold beef together and to keep it tender and juicy. Do the same with the remaining ingredients.
3. Heat a pan or griller and cook beef rolls approximately two minutes on one side (rolling beef four times for even cooking). Slice and serve over fried or freshly steamed rice.
