What's on the Menu?: It's time for Jollibee's Tuna Pie
MANILA, Philippines - Jollibee Tuna Pie is back. The Tuna Pie made with a filling of chunky tuna flakes, peppery sauce and an assortment of vegetables, encased in a crust and cooked to a golden crisp. The Jollibee Tuna Pie can now be enjoyed solo for as low as P32, or as a value meal with a regular-sized softdrink at P45. The Jollibee Tuna Pie is available only for a limited time.

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf now at Ronac Center
“Again, one of our main goals has always been to make it easier for all Filipinos to have access to the best brews available out there,” explains Walden Chu, president of The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (TCBTL). “Like in all our other stores, we took very careful consideration before deciding on this new location because we wanted to make sure it will indeed present convenience to all our followers.” The new TCBTL store opened on Feb. 27 at the ground floor, Ronac Art Center, Greenhills.

Tokyo Beef Bowl from Yoshinoya
Yoshinoya launches a variety of signature dishes: Yoshinoya’s Tokyo Beef is a bowl of white rice, topped with tender slices of pure beef and freshly sliced onions garnished with sesame seeds and capsicum slices. The Veggie Beef is loaded with slices of beef simmered in a special broth of authentic Japanese herbs and spices with a medley of fresh vegetables on top of steaming white rice. The Shrimp Tempura is crispy, golden brown white prawns, battered and deep-fried and glazed with a special tendon sauce over white rice. The tempura chicken is loaded with chicken chunks, lightly breaded and fried to golden brown perfection. The Yoshi Chicken comes in either leg or thigh part and is double-coated with a special batter. Yoshinoya’s pork tonkatsu is served with shredded cabbage on top of fragrant white rice. These signature dishes will be initially available at the Robinsons Galleria branch.

Escargot, tonkatsu at Ma Maison in Greenbelt 2
Ma Maison in Greenbelt 2 serves Japanese Western dishes with a European influence. Ma Maison offers escargot baked with garlic butter and Japanese scallop carpaccio, thinly sliced raw scallops, onions, alfafa sprouts and cod roe drizzled with Yuzu dressing. The Chasoba salad is cold green soba with ham, egg, tomatoes and cucumber in Japanese mayo. Ma Maison also offers hamburgers served with the restaurant’s famous brown sauce, which is stewed for 28 days. The Doteni Hamburger Steak, a signature and must-try dish has beef and pork patty topped with egg, doteni sauce and served with potatoes and salad on the side. Other dishes are Omu rice, ketchup rice, tonkatsu and Scotch Egg. For dessert, try the anmitsu (traditional Japanese jelly, syrup, soft glutinous balls, fresh fruits, sweet red bean paste and ice cream) and mixed fruit tart filled with white chocolate cream and topped with assorted fruits.
